Way back in 1977, Aunali left his mundane service job and decided to fuel his passion for photography. His keen eye and love for the lens, translated into beautiful product and advertising photography. His studio, which then resembled a shed, gave birth to pictures that were used for advertising and marketing purposes, for brands and clients such as Finolex, Bajaj Tempo, Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd, NDA and the IAF, just to name a few.
Over the next 20 years, Aunali honed his skills to a point where an inanimate object spoke to him and his camera.
In 1998, Taaha, Aunali's son, decided to follow his father's footsteps, however on a new path. This path led to the photography of you and me. Pure flesh and blood would soon be converted to pieces of art. Family Portraiture was born. This unique blend of photography with art underwent a lot of experiment to give rise to a product that was exquisite. This product was printed on a beautiful sized canvas and then textured by hand to look and feel like a painting.
Photography had married art. And this was, and is still only possible at The Portrait Studio.
Till today, many a clients are in disbelief that a portrait is 100 percent created through a camera lens..
